British gal Amy Jackson plays the perfect host to cast and crewmembers of her new Tamil flick

Looks like apart from making Mumbai her new home, Amy Jackson is also leaving no stone unturned in learning the customs and rituals of the country. This time it was Amy’s turn to say, “Attithi devo bhavo” and play the perfect host to her new colleagues from India.

While she was shooting in London with her co-star Vikram for her new Tamil film, she decided to treat the entire cast and crew to some yummy homemade English food in her Liverpool house. Our source says, “Amy had even planned a trip for the whole group to her horse stud farm and they all went riding together.”

In fact, the film’s team too was rather impressed by her initiatives.

Our source from the sets adds, “Amy is a very accommodating and warm person. She would often plan and arrange for dinner over the weekends at the best eatery in town. She took extra care that everyone was comfortable.”

British model Amy Jackson, who featured in "Ekk Deewana Tha" opposite Prateik, calls India her new home and says she loved travelling to different places while shooting for her debut film.

"I love India, it's my new home. I had a chance to travel quite a bit with the movie. We travelled to Madurai, Trivandrum (Thiruvananthapuram), Agra, Delhi and Goa. That was fantastic," the 21-year-old said here at the UTV Bindaas show Dell Inspiron Road Diaries.

"My favourite place was Kerala. I really think it's god's own country, it was beautiful. I would love to go back there for a chillout and not for work and just enjoy the place," she added.

While Amy waits for more Bollywood projects to come her way, she is exploring southern films too and will soon start work on a Telugu movie.

"I start my next movie in March and I am choc-a-bloc until the end of the year now with movies. My next is a Telugu movie opposite Ramcharan and it's called 'Yevadu'. Then I have a Tamil film immediately after and then hopefully, some Bollywood film by the end of the year," said Amy who earlier did Tamil film "Madrasapattinam".

Amy is confident that just like Hindi, her dedication will help her pick up Telugu as well.

"I am very dedicated. Hindi was just as hard as Telugu because I had no idea of the language beforehand. I know I could do a good job with Hindi so I am certain I'll do a good job with Telugu," she said.

Directed by Gautham Menon, "Ekk Deewana Tha" opened to mixed reviews last Friday. It tells the story of a struggling boy stuck between his dream of becoming an assistant director and wooing the girl he loves.
